I just wanted to thank you and your staff for the most wonderful service and food I have ever had, at the wedding. All of our guests have commented on how fantastic the food was, which is an enormous compliment when we had two chefs in attendance. The room was just perfect for our needs and since the renovation it has a beautiful elegance about it. The table setting and attention to detail was flawless. My mum also made reference to your staff helping to load the presents in the car at the end of the evening as well, which was an extra touch as far as she was concerned. We cannot thank you all enough for helping to make our evening the party that we were hoping for.

Dear Tony,

It is with great pleasure that we thank you for the wedding function for our son and daughter-in-law, Martin & Michelle Arulappu, on November 25th. Then venue was charming but most of all the welcome and courtest, of yourself and the staff made it a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night and made everyone welcome. Many of our guests remarked on the attention and friendliness throughout the night. Even in the weeks since we have had most positive words of praise from guests about the way they were cared for and their enjoyment of the food. You are to be congratulated on the quality of the service.

Thank you to the chefs and kitchen staff. The food was most pleasing and came in for plenty of favourable comments from so many of our friends. Thanks too to the staff for providing a snack late in the night for my brother-in-law whose wife was so gravely ill in hospital. The pleasant way my request was handled was appreciated by our family.

The evening was so much more than we had anticipated. And that was due to the human factor as much as the venue which certainly did look lovely. The friendliness and consideration should be acknowledged and our thanks passed onto all. Certainly we and our friends will speak of the evening with ward words and will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reception venue.

All we can say is well done Tony and staff.

Sorry it has taken so long to write to you but with our move overseas, followed by out honeymoon and then everything we have had to do to get settled in Paris (find jobs, find an apartment, etc) we have been flat out.

Anyway, we just wanted to take this moment to thank you for the wonderful reception at the Pumphouse. It could have not been more perfect and we greatly appreciate all the time you put in to make sure that everything suited our personal tastes and styles. The atmosphere and ambience were perfect and the food was spectacular. In fact, our guests are talking about how much they enjoyed being able to choose their own meals at a wedding and then actually really enjoy what they were served!

Most significantly though we wish to comment the staff who were working that night for their incredible proficiency and professionalism. You obviously select your staff very carefully because everybody we dealt with provided extraordinary service and most importantly were fun and friendly. Again, many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed being looked after by your staff that night.

So thank you again and we have the highest regards for the Pumphouse as a unique venue for events such as wedding receptions. In an industry so swamped with clichés, exorbitant prices and tastelessness (we did our research!), we felt that the Pumphouse stood out a mile from the rest of the pack in terms of quality and sincerity at extremely reasonable prices. On the nigh we were anything but disappointed as the reception you gave us went above and beyond our expectations.
